When I was younger, I remember stumbling upon an old photo of Audrey Hepburn walking down a street, I assume in Paris, with her favorite designer Hubert de Givenchy. In the photo, she of course looks flawless and petite wearing a classic trench coat. I'm not sure why, but I couldn't stop staring at it for the longest time. Maybe I thought the candid nature of the shot was incredible, but one thing Is for certain. It made me want a trench coat.
Living in the desert, there's very little need for outerwear. However, a cotton trench is perfect for the winter climate here. I found this number at Zara, and it's just what the doctor ordered. So thank you, Audrey, for once again inspiring my wardrobe and setting an incredible standard for women's style.
